The story of the Miano surname: the name that promised greatness and the two explanations of the surname, the old hamlet near Naples that bears the same name, a birth from 1787 and the towns across half of Italy where the name appears, the map of the Mianos in Italy and around the world, an honest page about the coat of arms, and five Mianos who left their mark.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
