WCST (Wisconsin Card Sorting Test) - Software
The Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) is a neuropsychological test of set-shifting, which is the capability to show flexibility when exposed to changes in reinforcement.
The WCST consists of four stimulus cards and 128 response cards that contain figures of various shapes (cross, circle, triangle or star), colors (red, blue, yellow or green) and number of figures (one, two, three or four). The usual way of applying the test is to place the four stimulus cards in front of the subject by ordering them from left to right.
The task is to distribute the cards according to a criterion, for example, the color. When the subject makes ten consecutive correct answers, he gets a category, and from the last one the classification criterion is changed without prior warning
You will get:
• ALL WCST materials (digitalised cards, manual in PDF,...)
• Software with unlimited uses
• You can use software to choose the stimulus/response and it will automatically tell you if the answer is
wrong or correct based on WCST principles and collect all the responses at the end
• Software is on Spanish language but anyone can use it (easy to use) and includes standard scoring
method of WCST (giving feedback and scoring in the moment)
• Software is .exe file which means that is meant for Windows Operating System
Software shows the obtained results that can be saved in the form of a text document and printed.
