Cobalt Blues

"Cobalt Blues," created by John Robert Beck in 2011, is an expressive abstract portrait that highlights the mesmerizing beauty of a Siamese cat. The cat’s deep cobalt blue eyes immediately draw the viewer in, serving as the emotional focal point of the piece. Surrounding the subject is a vibrant, flowing abstract background filled with soft curves and layered color, creating a sense of motion and depth.

The combination of realistic detail in the cat’s features and the energetic, almost dreamlike background gives the artwork a unique balance between realism and abstraction. This piece evokes both calm and intensity, making it a striking addition for cat lovers and collectors of expressive animal art.
