Always a surprise and at the same time, recognition

I have read many poems by Melissa in other books. Always, something leaps at me, a surprise turn I wasn't expecting - but really like. I end up reading passages of her poems over and over for the inner story in these lines, wishing I'd written them myself. Really liked these poems.
