This unit covers African creators, scientists, artists, and musicians across history and today. From Imhotep, the world's first known architect, to Wangari Maathai, Chinua Achebe, Fela Kuti, Miriam Makeba, Wole Soyinka, and Dr. Segenet Kelemu. Students learn how African genius shaped global art, literature, music, science, and technology.
