A thousand years have passed since Lucifer was cast into the Lake of Fire, imprisoned in the form of a dragon and condemned for the evil he unleashed upon creation.

Miriam has never forgotten him.

Before the throne of Heaven, she asks Adonai a question few would dare to speak: Mortals guilty of terrible sins have been forgiven when they truly repented. If redemption is possible for them, why should Lucifer be denied the opportunity to choose?

To her astonishment, Adonai agrees.

Miriam is permitted to enter Hell and carry the offer to the being she once loved. But Hell has changed, and the journey to Lucifer will force her through its darkest corridors, where fallen beings still inflict their cruelty and old friends have suffered terrible fates.

At last, she must stand before the dragon Lucifer has become and offer him something he may despise more than punishment itself:

A choice.

To remain what he has made himself, or to speak the words that could change eternity.

But possible redemption is only the beginning.

And should Lucifer return to the Heaven he once rejected, he may discover that receiving grace is far easier than learning how to live with it.
