‘Grammarly Yours', authored by Meenakshi Pappu is her maiden voyage in writing books. Born and raised in New Delhi, and residing presently in Delhi NCR, she had a great passion and flair for English, since childhood.
She was the topper in English in her High School, little did she realize its importance then, which in turn is helping her in becoming an author today.
She has successfully completed her M.Phil. in English, and her interest, even today, is to improve herself in grammar techniques and methods. Hence, she spends most of the time researching from diverse sources.
Her passion to learn and teach English, dates to the late 90s, when she taught her first batch of students, who needed her help in communication and writing skills. She understood that the root cause of their weakness was grammar which inspired her to research and come up with her unique teaching styles and methods.
Cooking and singing are her hobbies besides her teaching profession, which she engages in for relaxation. A mother of two sons (her assets), and for the last 25 years has been teaching students at all levels, up to the 12th grade.
Her passion to teach concepts of grammar in a very systematized manner, inspired her to include the worksheets (the basics of grammar) prepared while teaching, in this book, ‘Grammarly Yours’, that is expected to cater to the needs of students (beginners) at all levels.
She has had the insight and foresight to create a piece of work which would benefit the beginners, but who are not motivated enough. After having taught for a couple of decades, she met Smitha Rajaram, her friend, philosopher and confidante who motivated her to accomplish the desired goal. With the support of her family and Smitha, she was able to turn her dream into reality, which she trusts will help many in developing their language skills.
