The Lost Son
The Lost Son is an easy-reader retelling of the Bible story found in
Luke 15:11-32. A young son asks his father for his money and leaves home to live on his own. After spending everything he has, he becomes hungry, lonely, and sad. While working far from home, he realizes he has made a mistake and decides to return to his father and ask for forgiveness.
When the son comes home, his father welcomes him with love, forgiveness, and a big hug. Instead of being angry, the father celebrates his son's return with a joyful party. Through this heartwarming story, children learn about God's unconditional love, forgiveness, and the joy of coming back to Him after making mistakes.
