Description:

Modern reflexology provides deep relaxation, revitalised energy, stress relief, preventative healthcare and balance to the systems of the body. You will learn to activate the healing powers of the body using energy zones that run throughout the body and reflex areas in the feet that correspond to all the major organs, glands and body parts.

Pre-requisite / Entry level:

An Anatomy & Physiology qualification is required.

Our online A&P course can be studied alongside this course

Course format:

2 day practicals + online learning modules + case studies

Attendance:

2 days practical

Model required:

Yes, you will be required to work on models to carry out your case studies at home.

Case Studies:

3 treatments on 3 clients (9 treatments)

The CMA - The Complementary Medical Association

Career potential:

Reflexologist - employed or self-employed, working in a salon or spa or as a home / mobile therapist.

Assist in restoring your clients body back to its balanced state, and helping with common ailments.

Additional Costs:

You will need to purchase your own products and equipment in order to carry out your case studies and practice your skills. i.e., Treatment couch / chair, massage medium (ie grapeseed oil). You will need to bring your massage medium to your practical training days.

Alternative course option:

This is also offered as part of our VTCT Level 3 Diploma in reflexology (VRQ) course which is OfQual / governmnent regulated.
