Grants are one of the key ways for non-profits to be resourced to carry out projects or provide services to their beneficiaries. The biggest benefit is that grants are never expected to be repaid - unless they have been inappropriately used.

Grant readiness refers to your ability as a non-profit organisation to effectively apply for and manage grants.

This checklist has been created to help you assess whether your organisation is ready or not to apply and secure grants or funding for your community initiatives. It’s a one-page checklist with 16 questions to assess some of the eligibility requirements of some funders and guage if your organisation is fit for funding.
