Cinema Sound Ambience Library

The Cinema Sound Ambience Library is Mark Edward Lewis' latest foray into resources for filmmakers to create powerful immersion for their films. A powerful companion to the Cinema Sound Foley Library (Impact Soundworks), the Ambience Library combines 96KHz recordings from all around the planet to create deep immersion for audiences in all manner of media.

Over 45 GB of meticulously recorded soundscapes including over 5 GB of sound effects from his personal library, this library is the perfect addition to every filmmaker, editor, and sound editor's toolbox. Unlike most ambience libraries, this library focuses on unusual ambiences that can add depth and dimension to the soundscape of a mix. Combined with the sound effects library (included), the kind of immersive and rich environments that can be made are endless.

This library was recorded in Mid-Side format and can be decoded easily into standard stereo (although we recommend keeping the ambiences in M/S). Included is also an entire 4-Channel full surround library of jungle, airport and ancillary sounds on the island of Hawaii.
