EFT or tapping is self-administered acupressure combined with cognitive and behavioral therapy techniques, sometimes referred to as "reframing your thoughts", "re-patterning your brain" and "psychological acupressure". The founder, sometimes called the Master Brain and Developer of Emotional Freedom Technique is Gary Craig, who reveals that "the treatment sprung from the idea that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system". Qi! He further claimed that disruption in the flow of Qi can lead to physical or mental health challenges, disease or illness. EFT is an excellent tool to use to release blockages in the Meridian pathways, carrying the energy by tapping on the meridians at key points along pathways running through the face, scalp, the collarbone and under the arm.


It literally involves tapping acupressure points on your body with your fingertips while engaging in self-talk and affirmations, (often out loud). In this way you coach yourself through strong emotions when overwhelmed or stressed and send a signal to your body to calm down, when that emotion arises in the future. This can be done to oneself, or to another, to adults and children.


In this book, I will give you the background on what EFT is, how it works, and the detailed procedure. As well, I provide sample scripts to use for day-to-day common ailments, illnesses, behaviors, emotional upsets, and anxiety. In order to make real improvements to issues, concerns, negative feelings and physical and emotional ailments, you will need to use the EFT Tapping Workbook to help you implement your changes and you will find enough worksheets to do 5 complete tapping sessions included in the last section of this guide.
