Simply tell us your name and how to pronounce it. The artist will personally select Japanese kanji inspired by its pronunciation and positive meanings, then transform your unique kanji name into an original handwritten calligraphy design.

How It Works

Step 1 — Place Your Order

Enter the name you would like transformed into Japanese kanji during checkout.

Step 2 — Tell Us the Pronunciation

Explain how your name is pronounced using syllables or similar-sounding words.

Example:

Name: Emma

Pronunciation: EM-uh (English)

If possible, please also tell us which language your name comes from.

Step 3 — The Artist Creates Your Kanji Name

Shifū Akisada will select kanji that reflect your name's pronunciation while considering their meanings and artistic harmony.

Your kanji name will generally consist of approximately 3–4 characters or fewer, depending on the name.

The artist will then create your personalized calligraphy artwork by hand.

Step 4 — Receive Your Artwork by Email

Your finished smartphone wallpaper and English explanation will be delivered to the email address associated with your order.

Delivery time: Within 3 business days after your order and all required details have been confirmed.

Business days are Monday through Friday, including Japanese public holidays.

If we make an error in processing the information you provided, or if your delivered file is corrupted or cannot be opened, please contact us. We will review the issue and provide an appropriate correction, replacement, or refund where applicable.
