Leonids Tunisian Crochet Shawl Pattern
The Leonids shawl was originally featured in Moorit Magazine Issue #3. This triangle shawl is worked sideways and uses a random number generator to evoke imagery of a meteor shower.
Use the instructions to make a shawl exactly as shown, or use the alternative instructions along with a random number generator to create a truly unique shawl.
Materials
Yarn: 800 yards DK weight yarn (sample used Barker Wool Polwarth DK (100% SW
Polwarth 225m/245 yard per 100g in Debonair colorway).
Hook: 6.0 mm (J) regular crochet hook with cable.
Size: 65” x 24” (165 x 60 cm)
Adjustments: Size is adjustable based on weight.
Skill level- Easy
Basic knowledge of tunisian crochet is assumed (forward pass/return pass etc). Written instructions.
