Tiny Travelers Club: Italy Unit Study

🇮🇹 Tiny Travelers Club: Italy Unit Study

A hands-on unit study for kids ages 3 to 10

As a travel-loving mama of two little girls, I’ve always dreamed of showing my kids the world. But let’s be honest, we can’t hop on a plane every month (as much as I wish we could!). So I created the Tiny Travelers Club, a way to explore a new country together right from your kitchen table.

And we’re kicking things off with one of my FAVORITE places on earth... ITALY!

I’ve walked the streets of Rome, ridden through Venice, and eaten my weight in gelato on the Amalfi Coast, and I poured all of that love into this pack. Your little ones will learn about Italy’s landmarks, animals, food, holidays, language, and so much more, all through hands-on activities they’ll actually WANT to do.

What’s Inside

Part 1: Learning Together (Parent-Led Pages)

Easy read-aloud pages with simple pronunciations (no Italian needed!) plus discussion questions and activities:

• Holidays & festivals (La Befana, Carnevale, and more!)
• What the Italian flag means
• Italy’s major cities: Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Naples, and Pisa
• Science & nature: animals & habitats, volcanoes, and agriculture
• Soccer in Italy
• A real volcano experiment
• 3 authentic Italian recipes to make together

Part 2: I Can Do It! (Independent Work Pages)

Pages your kiddo can work on by themselves while building real skills:

• Map tracing and geography
• Flag coloring and design your own flag
• Count and graph Italy’s animals
• Word searches at three skill levels
• Italy math word problems
• Letters, copy writing, patterns, matching, and more!

Plus:

• Your Italy passport sticker to add to your Tiny Travelers Club passport
• A supplemental resource guide with book, video, and movie recommendations (Luca movie night, anyone?!)

Made for Real Families

• Ages 3 to 10: Pages range from simple tracing and coloring to word problems and writing prompts, and almost everything can be adapted to fit YOUR child. Perfect for siblings learning together!
• Reusable: Pop the independent pages into page protectors, a menu book, or laminate them and use dry-erase markers to do them again and again. Print once, play all month!
• Low prep: Just print and go. No teaching degree or crazy supplies required, I promise.
• Flexible: Great for homeschool, preschool at home, after-school fun, summer learning, or getting excited for a family trip!
