Collaboration Skills at Work

Monday, quarter past eight. The Meridian changeover — a first export run, on the water Friday. Four people around it, one date, and four different pictures of what "finished" means. The meeting ends on the hour and the plan on the wall looks clean.

It is not a plan problem.

Three meters show what it actually is. **Shared Goal** — how far these four work one goal rather than four. **Pace** — how fast the changeover moves against Friday. **Drift** — how far anyone has slipped out of the loop, especially whoever is off site. Drift is silent, and it is what ships the wrong thing on Friday.

The course teaches the four Listening Levels and puts you where you have to prove it: reflecting back what was actually said, rather than nodding while you rehearse your reply.
