My name is Justin A.K.A. Demonic Sweaters. I am a professional drummer and I started playing drums when I was just a small child. I started playing in bands when I was just 10 years old. I first toured the country in my band Lincoln when I was only 16.

Then as a young adult I studied Jazz and improvisation in Florida while still playing in bands. By the time I was in my 30s I was performing in professional theatre, Florida Studio Theatre as well as gigging jazz and blues gigs on weekends.

In the early 2000s I traveled to Brazil where I studied Brazilian percussion with the locals and started playing hand percussion in a Latin percussion ensemble called Iya Bakoso with leader Manny Lopez.

I later moved to NYC where I currently reside. I played in bands such as Echoscape, Frame and worked as a studio drummer in various projects. I started a YouTube channel and have grown to over 30k subscribers producing music and drum related content. I have worked closely with professional drum manufacturers such as Simmons, HXW Avatar, Donner and others.

I currently teach drums full time at Sunflower Music and Art Center in Brooklyn Chinatown where I have about 40 students ranging from 5 to 16 years old. I have been teaching at this location for the past 7 years. I have also taught many students world-wide online and offer many free drum lessons on my YouTube channel.
