Bella’s Bobble Granny Square Blanket by MeluCrochet

This cosy warm blanket is ideal for adding modern texture and style to your nursery, bedroom or lounge.

It takes a traditional granny square and adds a modern twist, creating texture and weight using the bobble stitch which is crocheted as you make the blanket and therefore won’t shed or fall off.

This is a beginner friendly pattern and contains photo tutorial guides for the bobble and extended single crochet stitches. The colour recipe and amounts of yarn you will need for each colour is also included.

5.5mm hook

Approximately 375g DK yarn,

I used Hobbii Kind Feather yarn:

Colour A 176g Light Pink (10),

Colour B 56g Dark Purple (13),

Colour C 95g Pink (11),

Colour D 48g Lavender (12),

Yarn Needle

Size

80cm (width) x 80cm (31½ x 31½ inches)

Tension

12st and 8 rows in dc to 10cm/4in using 5.5mm hook or size needed to obtain tension.
