Scatter the Scars

I wanted this collection to read like a menu for the restaurant that is my life thus far. I wanted to highlight parts of it that felt important and parts of it that were nuanced and frivolous. As much as I enjoy feeling like an island, I wanted these poems to feel available and decipherable. I wanted soft and hard transitions. I wanted to play and collide with language whilst remaining true to form. Overall, these poems are a small window into my soul and every other soul I've ran into that has the same red thread running through them.
