AP Human Geography Unit 5 Activities Bundle: Agriculture & Rural Land Use
Help students explain where and how we farm. Start with agricultural vocabulary, then move into land-use models, comparisons between places, food-label analysis, and evidence from documentaries or short videos. Choose individual activities to support the lesson you're teaching.
This collection brings ten revised activities together with student pages, teacher directions, answer keys where the task has fixed answers, and response guidance or rubrics for open-ended work.
CHECK FREE RESOURCES AND EARLIER PURCHASES
Earlier versions of Agricultural Revolutions and Global Farming Practices are available in the Social Studies Hub Free Resource Library: https://socialstudieshub.com/free-resource-library/. This paid bundle includes revised versions with updated directions and teacher support. Compare those free activities before buying.
If you already own the Social Studies Hub Unit 5 activities collection or a full Unit 5 bundle from TPT, many underlying activities overlap. This is a revised edition, not an entirely new set.

FORMAT AND PAGE COUNT
One ZIP download contains 11 PDFs: ten activity files and a three-page start-here and printing guide. There are 123 pages total, including 81 student pages and 42 teacher, key, reference, and start-here pages. The student count includes 30 different bingo boards, eight pages of cards, planners, a rubric, and optional pages. It does not mean 81 separate assignments.
Printable U.S. Letter PDFs. Student pages are grayscale. Files are not editable or fillable. The buyer preview shows one watermarked student sample from each activity; the purchased files include the complete teacher support.
PREPARATION AND ACCESS
These activities supplement your instruction. Vocabulary and comparison tasks may need class notes or assigned readings. AgriTown includes its model reference and optional sketch canvas. Global Farming Practices requires teacher-approved research sources and maps; a reading set, base maps, and a ready-made presentation are not included.
Documentaries and short videos are accessed separately. The teacher supplies the selected film or episode and an appropriate later independent source for claim checking. For Video Reflections, the teacher provides a menu of suitable videos. Preview the exact content, accuracy, captions, school access, and permitted classroom use before assigning media. Video files, transcripts, subscriptions, and media licenses are not included.
Slides, guided notes, a study guide, an exam, and a complete curriculum are not included. This is a collection of selected Unit 5 activities, not an exhaustive glossary or an official AP exam product.
USE AND SUPPORT
For use in one classroom. Please don't sell, redistribute, or post the complete files publicly. Direct other teachers to Social Studies Hub for their own copies.
