Jouncy Socks
I was wanting to make a textured sock that would look equally as good on a self-striping yarn as on a tonal or speckled yarn. The Jouncy Socks have a fun, bouncy, waffle texture that does just that. I used a heel flap with a square turn so that when using a self-striping yarn, the stripes aren’t disrupted as much.
This sock is knit from the top down on magic loop. Needle 1 is the front of leg and top of foot, needle 2 is the back of leg, heel and bottom of foot. It has a heel flap, square heel turn, gusset and a wedge toe.
