Visual Aesthetics for AV
Why one correct picture holds a room and another does not
Two pictures can both be sharp, correctly exposed and properly balanced, and one of them can still be dull while the other holds a room. The difference is aesthetics: where the subject sits in the frame, how much space surrounds them, what the light does to their face, what colour the stage is, and when the cut comes. None of it is on a specification sheet, and all of it can be learned.
