The story of the Di Tola surname: why the origin of the name is not documented and what can be said anyway, a nineteenth-century brigadiere (a police rank) and a taxpayer from L'Aquila, the mountains that have kept the name, the map of a surname that barely appears outside Abruzzo, and the families who live abroad. Plus an honest page about the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
