πΊοΈ Curriculum Breakdown
This collection focuses deeply on mastering Fractions, Decimals and Word Problems through a carefully curated system:
Writing a fraction (3 Sub-levels): Before a fraction can be added it has to be recognised in its other clothes. Everything in this run is the same one rule - multiply or divide both ends by the same number - asked three ways.
Adding and subtracting fractions (5 Sub-levels): Five rungs on one idea: you can only add pieces that are the same size. Same denominator, then one that needs changing, then two.
The other things a fraction says (2 Sub-levels): A fraction is also a division and also an instruction. Both rungs here are about reading it that way.
The same amount, written as a decimal (3 Sub-levels): A decimal is a fraction with 10, 100 or 1000 underneath, which makes converting an equivalent fraction question and comparing a place-value one.
Decimal sums on paper (3 Sub-levels): The column sum from M3, with one change: the digits line up on the point, not on the last digit. The frame prints the point in its own column so the child can see the difference.
Moving the digits, and rounding them off (2 Sub-levels): Neither of these is worked out on paper. One shifts the digits along; the other looks at a single digit and decides.
Word problems (2 Sub-levels): Money, lengths and weights - the places outside a workbook where a number is not whole.

π How To Use This Workbook
Print the workbook, read each rung's method page, and let your child work inside the printed frame. Then check the answers your way: in the printable answer-key PDF included in this download, or online, one page at a time, with the order ID on your Payhip receipt (valid for six months). Please keep the answer key for the adult marking the work and do not share it with your child: the workbook only works if they have worked each answer out for themselves.
