While enjoying a beautiful and peaceful wooded setting, you will learn about French cheese, wine and cheese pairings, and the differences between a French and American charcuterie board. This experience includes a cheese-tasting course and the opportunity to build your own board in the American or French style.
Note: Most French cheeses are unpasteurized (raw milk), but this event will include both pasteurized and raw milk cheeses, which will be labeled accordingly.
You will also get to taste some edible flowers!
At the end of the night, you will take home a brand new charcuterie board of your choice and a set of cheese knives, plus a lot of new information about French cheeses and wines!
This is an intimate and immersive experience for only 8 people.
Your experience ncludes:
- All your ingredients, including cheeses, meats, fruits, vegetables, crackers, breads, jams, nuts, and more
- Edible flowers
- All the tools you need for making a charcuterie board (boards, utensils, platters, bowls, serving tools, and more)
- A take-home charcuterie board of your choice -- a variety of styles will be available
- A take-home cheese knife set
- Wine and soft drinks
- Great information about the history of charcuterie, the unique nature of American-style charcuterie, and how to create a beautiful board
