This quote is often shared by people who are nothing like me. I tend to do the opposite. While others chase the sunshine, I’ve always found something sacred in the storm. I’m the kind of person who feels most at peace when lightning cracks the sky and the world turns dark and electric. I find my strength in the shadows—not in spite of them, but because of them.
