Materials:

Version 1:

Hjertegarn Merino Cotton (DK; 50% superwash wool/50% cotton;120m/131yds per 50g ball).

Shown in shade: 403 Graphite (C1) x 2 (3) balls

9130 Magenta (C2) & 1265 Grass (C3) x 1 (2) balls each or 60g (100g) if using one C2 colour.

Version 2: 

Hjertegarn Merino Cotton (DK; 50% superwash wool/50% cotton;120m/131yds per 50g ball).

Shown in shade: 500 Midnight (C1) x 2 (3) balls

The Discrete Unicorn DK Silver Sparkle Yarn Advent 2024 (75% superwash merino/20% nylon/5% stellina; 212m/232 yds per 100g skein) x 25 mini skeins (C2) (approx 3g used per colour)

3.5mm (UK9-10/US4) circular needles, 60 (80)cm/24 (32)in long

45x75cm (55x75cm)/18x30in (22x75in) felt fabric or cotton fabric with interfacing (see pattern notes)

Basic sewing kit (needle or a sewing machine, pins)

1 pair of handles

Tension:

25 sts and 29 rounds over 10cm/4in in Chart after blocking.

Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the final size and amount of yarn used.
