Fluidity Socks
Cables flow gently across columns of twisted stitches in these stretchy socks.
The pattern assumes familiarity with cabling and basic cuff-down sock construction techniques. It will go a lot faster if you know how to work cables without a cable needle - I have not included a tutorial for this in the pattern since there are a number of good ones, such as this one, already available. The cable pattern is currently provided only in charted form.
You'll want to have approximately 100 g of fingering weight yarn available for sizes S/M/L and will likely need more than that for XL unless you shorten the leg.
Four sizes are included:
Small (60 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 7 inch foot)
Medium (70 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 8.25 inch foot)
Large (80 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 9.5 inch foot)
Extra Large (90 stitch cuff, to fit approximately 10.75 inch foot)
These fit a bit tighter than a stockinette sock with the same stitch count.
If you’re printing the pattern in black and white, you’ll want to make note of the highlighted portions of the charts.
