It has been the main concern in feeding newly hatched fish (called "fry") is finding food small enough for these tiny fish to get their mouths around.
Now it is available in powder that is more manageable for the fry.
As a guideline to administer the food, dip the end of a toothpick in water then dip it into the powder. Submerge the tip of the toothpick in the tank near your baby fish to release the food.
Nutragard is the name given to our Starter Range of Feeds that have a Health Pack added to the formulation. The health pack contains nucleotides, oligosaccharides and peptidoglycans to maintain gut health, improve nutrient absorption and boost immune response. Specially formulated to help fry deal with stressors such as handling and grading and improve disease resistance.
Fish Meal, Wheat Flour, Squid Meal, Shrimp Meal, Fish Oil, Betaine, Vitamins & Minerals, Colour, Preservatives, Antioxidants.
Do not overfeed. Because the fish stomach is very small, best to be fed twice daily small amount.
