Why Biblicalist? — Yea, Hath God Said?
God has spoken. The question is whether His Word will remain final.
From Genesis to the words of Christ, Scripture repeatedly brings the believer back to one question:
What hath God said?
Why Biblicalist? is a concise Bible teaching on the authority of Scripture and the Christian’s responsibility to place the Word of God above every competing voice.
The book examines how religion, tradition, culture, scholarship, influential teachers, social media, and personal opinion can shape belief—and why every one of them must ultimately be tested by Scripture.
Drawing from passages such as Genesis 3, Matthew 4, Psalm 138, Acts 4 and 17, 1 Corinthians 2, Philippians 2, John 12, and others, the book explores:
- “Yea, hath God said?” and the continuing battle over authority
- Christ’s answer: “It is written”
- why God’s Word must stand above religious tradition and human reputation
- the proper place of scholars, seminaries, Greek, Hebrew, and study tools
- the work of the Holy Ghost in understanding Scripture
- biblical principles concerning worship, prayer, doctrine, and spiritual gifts
- what it means to live by every Word of God
- why churches and ministries must hold forth the Word of life
- how the Word of God should become visible in the believer’s daily life
- Christ’s warning that His Word “shall judge him in the last day”
The purpose is simple: to call Christians back to Scripture as the final authority for faith, doctrine, worship, ministry, and Christian living.
When Scripture corrects us, we change.
When man and God disagree, man must move.
“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 2:5
