Grieving children need support at home and at school. This bundle makes sure they have it in both places.

The GRIEF: A Journal for Kids Bundle includes both the Child Edition and the School Counselor Edition — two versions of the same grief-informed journal, each designed for a different setting and a different adult in the child's life.

The Child Edition is the child's own copy — a private, pressure-free place to draw, color, circle, and make sense of what they're feeling after someone important to them has died. It includes a For Grown-Ups guidance section for parents and caregivers, with practical information on how children grieve and how to use the journal together at home.

The School Counselor Edition is built for the professionals already in the building. It replaces the parent guidance pages with a full counselor intro covering how to use the journal in individual sessions, small grief groups, and crisis response — with Counselor Prompt boxes throughout, school-appropriate language guides, and session length suggestions that fit real school schedules.

Both editions follow the GRIEF framework — Grounding, Rebuilding, Interacting, Evolving, and Finding — in the same intentional order, using drawing, coloring, and choice-based activities that reduce the pressure to talk before a child is ready.

When a child's home and school are working from the same framework, the support doesn't stop at the door.

Recommended ages: 5–9, flexible with adult support.
