Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical brings the beloved ogre to life on stage in a hilarious and heart-warming tale of friendship, acceptance, and love.

Shrek, a reclusive ogre content with his solitary life in a swamp, is forced into action when a group of fairy-tale misfits are exiled to his land by the scheming Lord Farquaad. Determined to reclaim his home, Shrek strikes a deal with Farquaad to rescue Princess Fiona, who has been locked in a tower guarded by a fearsome dragon.

Joined by a talkative and lovable Donkey, Shrek sets off on a quest that leads to unexpected adventures and self-discovery. But Fiona harbours a secret of her own, and as layers are peeled back—literally and figuratively—Shrek learns that true love isn’t always beautiful on the outside.
