The Mind of Christ Jesus
The greatest calling of every believer is not only to follow Christ but to become like Him in thought, word, and deed. At the very heart of this transformation lies the challenge and invitation of Scripture: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5).
This book was birthed out of years of meditation, teaching, and personal encounters with God’s Word concerning the inner life of Christ. Too often, Christians focus on external acts of service, yet overlook the mindset that drove Jesus’ humility, obedience, compassion, and unshakable devotion to the Father. The mind of Christ is not a lofty ideal for saints of old; it is God’s standard and gift for every child of God today.
In these pages, we will explore what it means to think, perceive, and respond as Christ did. We will uncover the richness of His humility, the power of His submission, the depth of His love, and the wisdom of His eternal perspective. We will also confront the challenges of modern life—selfishness, pride, materialism, and moral compromise—that make it difficult to walk in this kind of mind, and learn how the Spirit of God empowers us to overcome.
My prayer is that this book will not merely inform you but transform you. As you read, may you hear the Spirit’s gentle call to exchange worldly thinking for the glorious mind of Christ. May you be stirred to live counter-culturally, to love sacrificially, and to serve faithfully until Christ is fully formed in you.
This is not just a study. It is a journey—one that leads to deeper intimacy with Christ and greater usefulness in His Kingdom.
