Drums From Eureka Records [Vol. 1]

This is my first sample pack of drums recorded at Eureka Records in Wyandotte, MI. The drums were recorded in both Eureka’s live room (Studio A) and the warehouse-esque photo studio attached to Eureka (Studio B). Studio A has a tighter sound with a short decay and Studio B has a big and open sound with a long decay. This pack is made up of exclusively one-shots from 9 different vintage and modern drums that were recorded through Eureka Record’s collection of analog preamps, compressors, and EQs.

Each drum has multiple velocities of hits and multiple mic variations per hit (close mics, room mics, all mics, etc). The files included are 44.1kHz_16bit WAVs and TCI preset files — Slate Trigger 2.

Kicks: Tama Starclassic, vintage Slingerland, Gretch Round Badge

Snares: vintage maple Ludwig, vintage Ludwig Acrolite

Racks: Gretch Round Badge, Ludwig Breakbeats

Floors: Gretch Catalina, vintage Slingerland

MAOD:

The MAOD kit includes samples that were taken during the recording of Secret Grief’s 10 year anniversary album, Mutual Attraction X Opposite Direction. This kit included a birch Tama Starclassic kick drum, a 1960’s maple Ludwig Snare, a vintage Gretch Round Badge rack tom, and a vintage Slingerland floor tom.
