Notion 8-bit Logo (12x12)

This is a physical piece of art... not a digital file.

It's the Notion logo in glorious 8-bit form.

What is Notion? It's a web service where you can think, write, and plan. Capture thoughts, manage projects, or even run an entire company — and do it exactly the way you want.

Everything in Notion is inside a "block" and the company's headquarters showcases art made out of Legos because those too are blocks. I thought it would be fun to shrink the logo down really small and create art showing the pixels.

What I love about the logo is that it's a cube but it's tilted a little bit. Diagonal lines never show up well in pixels. You see all the shades of gray that attempt to show the diagonal line.

The squares are made with 2mm plywood that are cut into tiny 13/32-inch squares (10.32 millimeters)

There are 27 rows of 26 squares (702 squares total)

Each square is hand-painted and glued on a thicker piece of plywood.

The total size is approximately 12x12 inches.
