In The Summer Night

The In The Summer Night sock pattern was originally named 'Kesäyössä' in the Finnish sock book 'Tuhansien villasukkien maa'. Please note that the pattern is available for purchase only in English here on Payhip.


Pattern features:

• designed for fingering weight (approximately 400-420 m / 100 g) yarns: 60-70 grams of MC and 5-10 grams of each three CC's
• knitted cuff-down
• instructions written for magic loop but dpns can be used as well
• instructions written in metric and US terminology
• two sizes: small (64 sts) and medium (72 sts)
• a few beads in the stranded colourwork can be replaced by contrast-coloured sts
• slipped stitch heel flap and a round heel turn
• charts but no written instructions for the stranded colourwork and cable pattern
• pattern tech edited and proof read by Helena Kahan
