ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY(PDF)
ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY
(The only way to understand the true Gospel message of Jesus Christ)
Why do people who know what is right still struggle to live righteously?
From childhood, we are taught to be honest, truthful, kind, forgiving, moral, and good. We know that lying is wrong. We know that stealing is wrong. We know that injustice is wrong.
Yet knowing what is right does not necessarily produce a righteous life.
Why?
Perhaps the real problem is deeper than behaviour.
Perhaps the real question is not simply:
“Why don’t people do what is right?”
but:
“Under whose authority are they living?”
This question changes everything.
Human beings live within systems that constantly shape their thinking, values, desires, decisions, and behaviour—family, education, culture, society, government, economy, traditions, religion, and the pursuit of money, success, security, pleasure, and recognition.
But Scripture reveals something deeper: there is a spiritual dimension behind the present world and its systems.
If so, can human beings establish genuine righteousness merely by trying harder?
What exactly did Jesus Christ come to proclaim?
Jesus did not begin His ministry by telling people merely to become better human beings.
His proclamation was:
“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
— Matthew 4:17
That was not simply a moral lesson.
It was a proclamation concerning a Kingdom, an authority, a government, a way of life, and a complete transformation of the human mind.
Two Kingdoms. Two Authorities. Two Ways of Life.
The world has its own values, priorities, standards, and systems of authority.
The Kingdom of God has its own values, righteousness, authority, and way of life.
The world teaches people how to gain.
The Kingdom teaches people how to serve.
The world seeks human recognition.
The Kingdom seeks God’s approval.
The world is temporary.
The Kingdom is eternal.
Paul therefore wrote:
“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2
The Gospel is therefore not merely about changing a few habits.
It is about changing the governing authority of your life.
Why This Book?
Absolute Authority examines the deeper reason humanity continually struggles to establish genuine righteousness while living within the present world’s systems.
It explores the Gospel preached by Jesus Christ from the perspective of authority, Kingdom, obedience, righteousness, transformation, and allegiance to God.
This book takes you beyond the common understanding of the Gospel and asks you to examine its foundation:
• Why human morality alone cannot establish God’s righteousness
• How the present world shapes the human mind
• Why Jesus’ Gospel was fundamentally a Kingdom message
• What it means to come under the authority of God’s Kingdom
• The authority and constitution of God’s Kingdom
• What genuine repentance and transformation actually mean
• What it means to leave the world’s system and live according to God’s authority
Jesus Christ stands at the centre of this message because God appointed Him as Lord and Christ:
“God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
— Acts 2:36
Following Jesus, therefore, is not merely adopting a religious identity.
It is understanding the authority God has given Him and learning to live according to the will of God.
The question is no longer simply:
“Am I a good person?”
The greater question is:
“Under whose authority am I living?”
Once you understand the answer to that question, you can begin to understand the true Gospel message preached by Jesus Christ.
Absolute Authority is an invitation to examine that message from its foundation—and to discover what it truly means to live under the authority of God.
This is not simply a book about becoming a better person.
It is about discovering who has the right to govern your life.
