Further information:

All though the pattern indicates the use of circular needles and the magic loop method, you can use double pointed needles, a short circular needle, two long circular needles or whichever method you prefer. It is important to understand that the sock has two sides, the bottom (needle1) and the top (needle2).

You can easily adjust the size of the sock by knitting a longer or shorter leg or foot. Remember that if you knit another size than indicated in the pattern, it will have an influence on the amount of yarn you will need.

The lace patterns in these socks is not a difficult one to knit. But it is an advantage to have some experience in knitting lace patterns.

You can easily use another sock yarn than the one this pattern calls for, as long as it is approx. the same yardage and you can get gauge. Some of my test knitters did that. However, they all used more than 50 gram for the small size. So it would be a good idea to have two skeins ready or to have enough yarn in another colour ready for contrasting rib, heel or toe, if you choose to use another yarn.
