At last, there is a collection of sound files to go along with the PDF files on the Brass Quintet/Quartet Archive, Volume 1. Now you can finally play through your quintets and quartets and hear what they are really supposed to sound like.

This archive has 4 hours and 42 minutes of music. If you play trumpet, you have twice that amount (because each piece has two trumpet parts to play through).

This archive has only Mp3 sound files. There is no sheet music included.
It is designed to work with the PDF files on the Brass Quintet PDF Archive, Volume 1.
All of our Sound Files work on both PC and Mac.
There is no sheet music in this archive. It consists only of MP3 Files - These files provide high quality sound and can be played by your computer, your home stereo system or even through your phone or tablet.
Much of the music from the Brass Quintet PDF Archive, Volume 1 is included in this archive, but not all of the music is included.

Organization - How to Use This Music
There are two esembles represented in this archive: Brass Quintets and Brass Quartets. Each piece for Brass Quintet has six files:

A complete recording with all the parts playing
Trumpet 1 - The piece has been recorded without the Trumpet 1 part. You play the Trumpet 1 part along with the recording.
Trumpet 2 - The piece has been recorded without the Trumpet 2 part. You play the Trumpet 2 part along with the recording.
Horn - The piece has been recorded without the Horn part. You play the Horn part along with the recording.
Trombone - The piece has been recorded without the Trombone part. You play the Trombone part along with the recording.
Tuba - The piece has been recorded without the Tuba part. You play the Tuba part along with the recording.

Each piece for Brass Quartet has five files. One is the complete music with all 2 Trumpets, horn, and trombone playing. Then there are 4 more recordings, each with one of the instruments removed, just as with the brass quintets. The trombone parts can also be played on tuba, and most of the horn parts can be played on trombone.

All of the pieces include taps to get you started or to help you through parts where there is no accompaniment. This is computer generated music rendered with high quality software that makes it sound like the real thing.
