WIDOWHOOD, One Woman's Journey
This is my story. It's real, unfiltered, and a true accounting of my journey as a widow.
It is not a self-help book, merely a memoir of the path my husband's sudden death put me on.
At a time in my life where speech was often difficult and emotions ravaged my soul, I found it easier to write what I was feeling, rather than talk about it, even to those closest to me.
If you are a widow, this may strike a chord with you, and you'll realize that all of your crazy and disjointed thoughts are shared by others like you.
If you know a widow, this book may help you understand your mother, sister, or friend.
My journey is not over, nor shall it ever be. Grief has no expiration date. The best we can hope for is times of respite as we struggle to make peace between what is and what was supposed to be.
