Of all traps, this one made Scott's stomach tighten. Some called it the Sculptor. Watching the current victim, Scott realized why it had earned its alternate nickname. The trapped figure resembled a living statue, frozen mid-motion — captured while running, half-turned backward.

Inside the time trap, temporal flow slowed to an extreme crawl. Two bullets hung suspended within the Sphere's field: one targeting the head, another aimed at the heart. Eventually, they would reach their marks — though to any outside observer it would seem like eternity.
