An eye opening and insightful read!

This is the second book by the author Olusola Osinoiki that I've read on career management and I enjoyed it as much as the first one, "The art of managing up" because of the author's clear and straight forward approach to sharing their knowledge and perspectives.

The book was full of not just useful advice, but also comforting words, especially if you're in a place of uncertainty in your career. It gave me quite a bit to think about and I appreciated that a lot of the advice was grounded on an individual needing to understand themselves, because they figure out trying to understand what steps they should take on their career journey, as I think that's something that's often overlooked in many books that just fling a mountain of tips and tricks at a reader.

I also appreciated the author's authentic voice and willingness to discuss the challenges they faced in their decades long career journey and their reactions to those challenges in an open manner. Reading the book felt like I was having a pleasant discussion with a good friend and mentor.
