ZORVA #4: Malgrom and the Lion-Core

When an exile arrives carrying a fragment of Drakkon’s Lion-Core, the King orders Malgrom Stonehorn to destroy it. The ancient smith chooses another path, forging a dangerous bond between living fire, stone, and flesh.

After the Hermit epoch and the Revelation wars, Malgrom Stonehorn works alone in the red canyon, serving neither king nor throne.

When the King’s captain delivers an exile carrying a fragment of Drakkon’s Lion-Core, Malgrom is commanded to break the fire inside him. But the forge reveals a deeper truth. Killing the exile would destroy their only witness, while releasing the fragment could consume the canyon.

Malgrom makes his own judgment. With hammer, stone, and forbidden fire, he creates a living anchor that even Drakkon cannot ignore.

A mythic dark-fantasy tale of defiance, sacrifice, and forged destiny.
