The view of the Volcan de Agua from the fifth avenue is shared with an arch that served the nuns of the Santa Catalina convent to avoid the distraction of the street but after the city was abandoned by an earthquake the arch was also abandoned, but it became an icon of a city where the past and the present coexist.
