Indus Seal: CL1 Practice + Free Grading Sheet (Blended Pack)
This pack comes from my ongoing Indus Script project: a reproducible, four-lane method for reading seals—ORI (reading direction), OVR (animal vs. text placement), T (words/lexemes), and AID (animal classifier)—with a traffic-light confidence rubric (HIGH/MED/LOW). The goal is simple: make the process teachable, testable, and repeatable. For context and credibility, I’ve included the CL2 slide from my New Delhi conference materials and a redacted ASI thank-you letter (invitation ≠ endorsement).
This is a blended learning pack: CL2 is already graded so you can see the finish line, and CL1 is your practice—you be the linguist and apply the same steps.
How to get the Grading Sheet:
Click Buy Now (free) → enter your email → the Grading Sheet PDF downloads instantly.
How it works (quick):
- Learn the cues with the Grading Sheet (ORI/OVR/T/AID + confidence).
- Practice on CL1 (student page), then compare with the CL1 example key.
- Review the finished CL2 sample (student + worked key) to see a complete run.
What’s inside (PDFs):
• Grading Sheet (1p) — ORI/OVR/T/AID + confidence rubric
• CL1 Practice (Student, 1p) + CL1 Example Key (1p)
• CL2 (Student, 1p) + CL2 Worked Key (1p) — finished example
• Proof Pack (2p) — CL2 slide + redacted ASI thank-you letter
Who it’s for: Teachers, students, journalists, and curious readers who want a clear, repeatable way to read Indus seals.
