Exploring Officer is a scenario generator for Napoleonic wargames, with the great battles of the period ready to play.

The great battles

Sixteen researched battles, cut into the fifty-three engagements that decided them: Austerlitz, Jena–Auerstedt, Eylau, Friedland, Fuentes de Oñoro, Arroyo dos Molinos, Salamanca, García Hernández, Borodino, Krasny, Leipzig, the Six Days, Quatre Bras, Ligny, Waterloo and the Waterloo Campaign.

Each engagement is a complete scenario: its own table, its own staff map, both orders of battle, objectives, victory conditions, special rules and umpire's notes.

A new action every time

Six theatres (Egypt 1798, the Peninsula, the Danube 1809, Germany 1813, France 1814 and the Hundred Days) build a fresh action every time you ask, on whatever table you have.

Fits your table and your evening

From 20 units on the table to 74. Tables of 8, 10, 12 and 14 feet by 6. Distances in inches or centimetres, your choice, on the same sheet. An evening a game: 10 to 16 turns.

Works with your rules

A scenario is written in battalions, squadrons, guns, turns and inches, which every rule set uses and none owns, so it plays with the rules already on your table.
