Lunar Impressions 1

Lunar Impressions 1, created by John Robert Beck in 2006, begins the Lunar Series trilogy with an abstract vision of motion, atmosphere, and lunar-inspired light. Rich violets, soft lavenders, and glowing gold tones blend through fluid textures and layered geometric forms, creating a sense of drifting movement and quiet depth. Circles, sweeping curves, and crystalline angles give the piece a celestial structure, while the marbled surfaces suggest reflections, tides, and changing skies. The result is both dreamlike and architectural, inviting the viewer into a world that feels suspended between moonlight, water, and imagination.
