Do you love to get caught up in visiting (and re-visiting!) these stories?

Are some of your friends or family concerned about the use of magic in each of them?

In this course, I'll show you why each of these authors--who have all said that they were practicing Christians--use magic in their stories!

Each of These Stories has Characters that do Magic:

Gandalf in Lord of the Rings

Aslan in the Narnia Chronicles

Harry Potter, Dumbledore, Professor McGonagle (and many more) in the Harry Potter series

BUT THEY'RE NOT EVIL

Sometimes there is magic that's evil within those stories, as it is with:

Sauron in Lord of the Rings

The White Witch in the Narnia Chronicles

Voldemort in the Harry Potter series

But ALL of those evil characters are shown to be evil throughout those stories!

HOW CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

It's important to know that the magic in these stories is not the same magic that's in real life

There is a distinct separation between our world and the world of magic and imagination in these stories, and the magic in these stories comes from the the Realm of Faerie, not from the real world.

If an author does use magic in the same way that human beings think they can use it in our world,

then it's not the same kind of magic that comes

from the realm of Faerie

WHAT KIND OF MAGIC IS IN THESE STORIES?

It's not the same type of magic as real life. The magic in these stories is from the world of Faerie, which is a different world from our world.

There is a very big difference between the magic condemned in the Bible and the magic used in these stories. All three of these authors are Christians.

In this course, you'll learn how to see the different ways that magic is used in these stories, and how that magic is different from magic in real life.

Open the door and come in and see!

Join me as I walk you through some of the magical characters and situations that these three stories have in common. You'll learn how to tell the difference between:

  • Fairy tale magic
  • Magic that is just tricks
  • Magic in the real world

so that when you encounter other stories with magic in them, you'll be able to discern the difference
