Bristol F2b
The best fighter of WW1, the 'Brisfit' as it was affectionately called was so feared by German high command that pilots were ordered to avoid contact and not engage the Bristol.
An exceptional feat for the first world war's worst Bomber, as that is what the big Bristol was designed to be, it was only after disastrous losses that pilots took it upon themselves to fly the Bristol like a fighter, from which it became immediately apparent that this plane, although big, could outfly anything in the air at the time and with it's rear gunner (a standard feature on bombers back then) 'Dog Fights' were risky for any would be pursuer. A truly Iconic aircraft that history seems to have forgotten.
This highly detailed model has been lovingly created from historic documents and has been described by one Aircraft Museum as the best recreaction of the Bristol F2B they've ever seen.
