Clytie is a top-down cowlette that starts with a sideways striped triangle. Pick up some stitches and bam! You’ve started your cowlette that you can finish up all in the round. The German short rows are my favorite and deceptively easy to work. A simple pleated edge finishes off this generous cowlette that you will love wearing!
YARN: Knitted Wit Sock (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon; 420 yds / 4 oz): 1 skein Wild Orchid (MC).
Knitted Wit Smartie Mini Skeins (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon; 45 yds / 12 g): 1 skein each of Imbolc (CC1), Ostara (CC2), Beltane (CC3), Litha (CC4), Lammas (CC5), and Mabon (CC6).
GAUGE: 19 sts & 26 rows to 4” [10 cm] in stockinette
NEEDLES: US #6 [4.0 mm] needles; adjust needle size to achieve gauge
SIZE: 28” [71 cm] neck circumference, 14” [35.5 cm] length at back neck, 28” [71 cm] length in front at center
